Quality, reliable kitchen gadgets and utensils are central to efficient and successful cooking. I have a finite amount to spend on gadgets, but always buy the best I can afford and do not compromise. If The Man named Sous identifies a product that, based on reviews and copious technical research is the best for our circumstances, then I accept his judgement that nothing less will do.
Of course, gadget choices are subjective, but it is usually the case that you get what you pay for in my experience. Reviews of existing purchases and new products will be added in due course.
